Shah Rukh Khan Lends His Voice To Empower Millions Of Rural Women Entrepreneurs
Shah Rukh Khan has lent his voice to Samaaj Scope’s effort to empower millions of Rural Women Entrepreneurs from SEWA. The video of the same is out and has been trending high on YouTube. Check it out right here:


Shah Rukh also tweeted about the initiative and shared the video on his social media pages.


SRK's tweet read as: "Hand made love from beautiful women. Millions of rural artisans with unique skills; this is them celebrating their empowerment. I’m told women love my voice…will always be a voice that stands by them. #Hansiba (sic)."

Shah Rukh visited the SEWA centre in Ahmedabad last year and interacted with the artisan women to understand the business model and how it is creating systemic change in rural communities across the country.


Directed by Varun Lalwani, Produced By Samaaj Scope, the Film also features an appearance by Zoa Morani and Padmini Kolhapure.

The indomitable women of SEWA are quintessential examples that great products are backed by even greater stories.
